SCALDIA STARS Recording Studio is a full digital recording studio. We can offer digital recording on all popular formats (Pro-tools, Cubase SX, Logic, Digital Performer). The set-up involves both Apple Macintosh (OS 9, OS X) and PC (Windows XP Pro). Recording is handled by Apogee, Motu, Digidesign or RME digital interfaces. We can record up to 96 Khz-24 bit. As with all pro digital studios, all of our audio is clocked (Aardvark) and jitter free, only the best is our standard!

All systems offer full virtual effects and instruments of all the well known brands. (Waves, Antares, Native instruments, Steinberg, Spectrasonics etc). Any type of sequencer file can be uploaded, processed analogue and digitally for further development. All of the projects can be backed up to all of the popular formats (HD, CD-R, DVD , ZIP).

Our monitoring is handled by Quested and Yamaha speakers. The control room is tuned and acoustically designed to give an accurate representation of the recordings and mixing projects.

We have a live recording room that can accommodate drums, guitars, bass, vocals, etc. Again this room was specifically designed to accommodate any recording with high precision. We have a collection of vintage and current analogue and digital outboard incorporating effects and dynamic processing, (Urei, Universal Audio, TC Electronic, TL Audio, etc), of course supplemented by a vast selection of microphones (Neumann, Sennheiser, AKG, etc). One of the additional assets of Scaldiastars Studio is the possibility to use vintage analogue sythesizers (MOOG, Roland, ARP, Oberheim, etc).
